Role Overview

As the Store Manager at the Mid City Skechers store, you will take complete ownership of store operations, driving sales, coaching staff, maintaining operational standards, and fostering a positive team culture. This leadership role collaborates closely with retail leadership to expand the Skechers brand regionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire store's sales performance by increasing sales, units per transaction, and enhancing customer experiences.
• Engage directly with customers on the sales floor to boost transactions and brand connection.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-energy, engaging team culture focused on performance and enjoyment.
• Manage and guide a diverse team to achieve success in multiple store facets.
• Provide weekly insights on business performance, wins, and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee daily store operations, including delegation and prioritization of tasks.
• Maintain strict standards regarding wage control, shrinkage, visual merchandising, and inventory accuracy.
• Enforce health and safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Established experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader (Assistant Store Manager/Supervisor) with proven results in sales growth and team leadership.
• Ability to operate independently and confidently make decisions that positively impact store sales.
• A proactive growth mindset with eagerness for feedback and ambition to advance into flagship or senior leadership roles.
• Strong coaching skills with a passion for developing talent and building motivated teams.
• Excellent operational focus including visual merchandising, stock management, and overall store presentation.
