Position Summary
We are searching for a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Hornby location. This role collaborates closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, coach team members, and contribute to driving the overall success of the store. It is ideal for an emerging retail leader eager to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and advance their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in leading daily activities and ensuring sales targets and KPIs are met.
- Motivate and guide the store team to provide outstanding customer service and performance.
- Support visual merchandising efforts, manage stock, and maintain excellent store presentation.
- Help control wage expenses and support efficient scheduling.
- Coach and mentor team members to encourage professional growth and development.
- Ensure the store complies with safety and regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in senior sales roles or leadership support positions such as Key Holder, Supervisor, Third-in-Charge, or Assistant Store Manager.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to develop leadership capabilities.
- Enthusiastic about team development and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Effective at achieving sales goals and driving performance.
- Knowledgeable in stock management, visual merchandising, and daily retail operations.
