Position Summary
The role seeks a dedicated Store Manager for the Macquarie Park location, responsible for overseeing all store functions and leading a passionate team to achieve optimal results. This leadership position requires collaboration with retail management, aiming at business growth and brand promotion across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overall store performance by boosting sales, increasing transaction value, and delivering superior customer service.
- Engage directly with customers on the shop floor to facilitate sales and deepen customer knowledge about Skechers products.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to cultivate a high-energy and success-oriented work environment.
- Monitor weekly business results, highlight achievements and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage daily operational tasks including priority setting and delegation while upholding high standards in merchandising, stock control, and store appearance.
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership skills through previous experience as a Store Manager or senior retail supervisor, demonstrating consistent sales growth and team development.
- Capability to work independently with confidence in making impactful decisions inside the store.
- Possess a growth-oriented mindset, keen on receiving feedback and aspiring to progress to senior roles.
- Excellent coaching skills to foster team engagement and performance enhancement.
- Meticulous in maintaining operational excellence including visual merchandising and inventory accuracy.
