Position Overview
Lead the bustling Taubmans Trade Centre in Wetherill Park as a hands-on Store Manager at PPG, a global frontrunner with over 140 years of expertise in protective and decorative coatings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring compliance, safety, and a well-maintained, inviting environment.
- Coach and support your team on the sales floor to deliver stellar customer service experiences.
- Drive commercial success by boosting sales growth, overseeing inventory, and exploiting new business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with both trade and retail customers to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Create and maintain a positive, high-achieving team culture that encourages development and accountability.
Candidate Profile
- Experience leading teams in retail, trade, hardware, building products, or customer-facing roles.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for coaching and developing personnel.
- Commercially focused with an aptitude for sales and inventory management.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of hands-on leadership.
- A forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Paint industry knowledge is beneficial but not obligatory; comprehensive product training will be provided.
