About the Role
Join Vision Express, a leader in premium eyewear and med-tech innovation, and take charge of a flagship store located at Metrocentre, Gateshead. As part of the global EssilorLuxottica family, you will oversee a store that offers iconic brands such as Ray-Ban, Meta, Oakley, Prada, and Nuance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a large, dynamic retail team to achieve high performance standards.
- Enhance commercial success by delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Ensure full accountability for store outcomes, including KPIs and operational excellence.
- Actively participate on the shop floor to provide personalized service to customers.
- Manage all store operations such as staff scheduling, inventory control, compliance, and maintaining store standards.
- Foster a vibrant team culture centered on engagement, development, and responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with support teams to drive continuous improvement within the flagship environment.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in leading large, fast-moving retail outlets with a strong leadership background.
- Ability to confidently motivate and develop teams towards high performance.
- Commercially focused with a proven history of achieving performance targets.
- A deep commitment to providing exceptional customer experience and retail excellence.
- Resilient and flexible leader able to manage organizational change effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to inspire, engage, and influence others.
- No optics knowledge required, as full training and support will be provided.
