Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline through networking, recruitment, and succession planning by training and developing staff.
- Create a positive, safe, inclusive workplace, encouraging collaboration and recognition to boost employee engagement.
- Provide leadership by directing teams, delegating tasks, and investing in their professional growth.
- Lead customer service initiatives by guiding the Leader on Duty program to foster a customer-centric experience on the sales floor.
- Implement company directives related to merchandising and operations, including payroll and budget management.
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify actions that improve results.
- Ensure seamless omnichannel integration by training teams on relevant tools.
- Build customer loyalty through company-sponsored programs.
- Reduce shrinkage by maintaining consistent customer service, education, and operational controls.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in retail or related management with direct reporting responsibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer applications including Outlook, Excel, and web navigation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with frequent physical activities such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Capable of standing or walking for long periods and climbing ladders as needed.
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and at least two weekly closing shifts.
