Your Role

As a Store Manager, you will spearhead the store operations, cultivate growth within your team, and actively contribute to the community. This leadership position is hands-on, providing you with the chance to influence store culture, drive sales growth, enhance team skills, and make a substantial impact locally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting, coaching, developing, and motivating team members to maximize their potential.
  • Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, stock oversight, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Take accountability for sales performance, profitability, budgeting, cost management, and meeting key store performance indicators.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant workplace by advocating for workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
  • Foster strong ties with customers, local producers, organizations, and the broader community to enhance customer advocacy.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in retail or supermarket settings with demonstrable leadership expertise.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive sales efficiency and profitability.
  • A passion for exceptional customer service and nurturing a positive store environment.
  • Capability to prioritize competing demands, influence stakeholders, and perform decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of supermarket operations, including merchandise management, inventory controls, WHS, food safety, and compliance with regulations.
