Role Overview

We are recruiting Store Managers for our centres in the Greater Manchester area, specifically in Handforth, Cheadle. As a Store Manager, you will report directly to the Area Manager and will be accountable for all aspects of the daily operations of your pet care centre. This includes driving sales performance, managing staff, and providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all operational activities such as stock management and maintaining store standards.
• Lead and motivate a team to meet and surpass sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Foster a positive, enjoyable work environment for all team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the store.
• Deliver superior customer service aligned with our mission to be the best pet care business globally.
• Participate in industry-leading training programs that cover customer service, pet care, and health and safety.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years' management experience in a retail setting, leading teams of ten or more in fast-paced environments.
• A strong passion for retail with a history of achieving outstanding results.
• Availability to work a flexible seven-day rotating schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to engage and inspire teams.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and employee training in customer service, health and safety, and pet care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum.
• Annual bonus opportunities based on performance.
• 28 days of paid leave, increasing to 33 days after two years, inclusive of bank holidays.

Additional Information

Working hours are full-time, 40 contracted hours per week, based at the Handforth, Cheadle location (postcode SK9 3DF). This is a permanent role.
