Role Overview

We seek an experienced Store Manager for our high-performing Melbourne Metro store to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. This leadership position involves driving team development, delivering operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional customer experience while managing strong store performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a retail team of 20+ members across various levels.
  • Create a positive, accountable, and customer-centric store culture.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance feedback, and succession planning.
  • Drive sales performance by exceeding KPIs in a busy retail setting.
  • Effectively plan labor, including roster management, wages, and timesheets.
  • Analyze sales and operational data to implement improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, stock flow, and store presentation.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, loss prevention practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage large volume deliveries and rapid stock turnover.
  • Ensure outstanding customer experiences, especially during peak periods.
  • Lead and coordinate new product launches, promotional activities, and in-store events.
  • Engage with POP MART’s loyal fan community to enhance brand presence.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 4 years' experience managing high-volume retail stores.
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams (20+ employees) in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong people leadership skills with a passion for coaching and team development.
  • Commercially focused with a proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Exceptional organizational, resilience, and composure under pressure.
  • Customer-oriented while upholding operational discipline.
  • Interest in pop culture, lifestyle, design, or youth-oriented retail sectors.
  • Willingness to work a 7-day shopping center roster.
