Store Manager

Overview

The Store Manager will ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality customer service and fresh food standards. This role involves driving key sales and profitability targets through effective leadership and operational management.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the core Centra brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based.
• Supervise daily store operations to guarantee seamless functionality.
• Establish, track, and accomplish sales objectives related to gross profit margin, net margin, waste reduction, and other KPIs in collaboration with the Store Owner.
• Correctly implement store planograms and ensure stock assortment aligns with company guidelines.
• Manage staff scheduling and annual leave, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Store Owner.
• Maintain excellent merchandising and presentation standards throughout the store per planograms and guidelines.
• Foster positive, safe, respectful, and inclusive communication between the team and management.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and in line with store policies.
• Adapt to new initiatives and embrace innovative working methods.

Candidate Profile

• At least two years of experience in retail management.
• Comprehensive understanding of achieving KPIs and business targets.
• Strong skills in interpreting and acting on reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and delegation abilities.
• Highly motivated with a robust work ethic.
• Passion for the grocery retail sector.
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced workplace.
