Store Keeper

Overview

The Store Keeper will manage daily operations at construction site stores located in Gurgaon and Mohali. This role is responsible for overseeing material receipt, issuance, storage, stock updates, and documentation to ensure the smooth availability of materials for project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with procurement and site teams to track material needs and delivery statuses.
• Receive incoming goods, verify quantity and condition against delivery documents, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Authorize issuance of materials based on approved requests and maintain meticulous records of all receipts, issues, and returns.
• Maintain and update inventory registers, Excel tracking sheets, or ERP systems accurately and on time.
• Monitor stock levels to identify low or critical inventory and assist with stock verification, reconciliation, and audits.
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, and identification of materials to prevent loss, damage, or contamination, maintaining cleanliness and safety in storage areas.
• Generate daily material reports on receipts, issues, balances, and pending items.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate or diploma qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years experience in store operations, with at least 3 years in construction or site-based stores preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, store documentation methods, and comfortable working with inventory or ERP management systems.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position based on-site at designated project locations in Gurgaon or Mohali. The role reports to the Store Manager or Inventory Manager and has no direct reports.
