Role Overview

As a Stockroom Assistant at The White Company, you play an essential role in ensuring the stockroom and back-of-house areas operate seamlessly. Your efforts help maintain product availability, organization, and careful handling so that the shop floor team can provide outstanding service to customers. This position emphasizes precision, efficient organization, and collaboration to establish a strong operational foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer and brand experience by ensuring all stock is available and prepped for the sales floor.
• Handle all products carefully to uphold quality and brand standards.
• Work in close cooperation with sales floor colleagues to aid stock replenishment and availability.
• Collaborate effectively with stockroom and store team members, following directions from Supervisors and Managers.
• Participate actively in training sessions, briefings, and team meetings.
• Consistently adhere to established routines and safe working practices.
• Maintain a tidy and well-organized work environment.
• Assist with delivery processing, organizing stock accurately, and supporting replenishment activities.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety within the stockroom.
• Complete assigned stockroom tasks such as stock counts, price updates, and product recalls.
• Work efficiently, especially during busy periods, to meet the dynamic needs of the shop floor.
• Follow all health and safety, security, and stock handling guidelines reliably.
• Promptly report any concerns related to risks, maintenance, or other operational issues.

• Comfortable and able to work effectively in a fast-moving, practical environment.
• Dependable, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• A cooperative team member with strong communication abilities.
• Calm when facing pressure and eager to learn new skills.
• Previous experience in a stockroom setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
