Job description
Overview
This role supports leadership of overnight stocking crews and oversees department processes while addressing issues and inquiries. The Team Lead plays a key role in training and developing associates, operational planning, and contributing to store floor activities as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and coordinating task completion aligned with priorities set by the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
- Evaluate department presentation and appearance, identifying and addressing deficiencies by making necessary merchandising updates.
- Maintain strong communication with associates; lead daily team huddles to share updates, establish goals, and monitor productivity.
- Secure all high-value merchandise and ensure doors and lockups are secured when not in use; perform daily audits per established protocols.
- Coordinate schedule reviews in partnership with the People Lead.
- Conduct area inspections alongside the Coach and team to spot training needs; provide instruction and feedback to develop associate skills.
- Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures.
- Execute GTA/Workday related administrative tasks and support Management.
- Collaborate with Coach and People Lead to facilitate performance reviews, growth discussions, and assist with recruitment and hiring processes.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $20.85.
