Stocking 1 Team Lead

Overview

In the role of Stocking 1 Team Lead, you will assist in overseeing the stocking operations, addressing inquiries or issues, and supporting the development of team members through coaching and training. This position requires ensuring excellent customer service while guaranteeing tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Objectives and Duties

• Deliver outstanding customer interactions by warmly welcoming customers, offering product and service guidance, locating items, aiding purchase decisions, solving customer problems, and directing issues appropriately.
• Support and coordinate task assignments following priorities set by Stocking Coaches and Store Management, managing and delegating daily VizPick process completion.
• Monitor and assess the appearance and merchandising of General Merchandise as well as Food and Consumable sections and implement necessary improvements.
• Lead communication efforts including conducting daily team meetings to update staff, establish objectives, and track performance.
• Collaborate with the People Lead to review and confirm work schedules.
• Allocate associates effectively to ensure full coverage across store areas.
• Conduct area inspections jointly with Stocking Coaches and associates, identifying and addressing training opportunities, providing ongoing feedback and development.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company policies, performing safety checks, and ensuring secure displays and fixtures.
• Complete administrative tasks within GTA/Workday platforms and assist management with various operational needs.
• Work in partnership with coaches and people leads to facilitate employee performance discussions and support recruiting and onboarding processes.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $19.25.

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
