Stock Unloader Associate

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area and unload merchandise from general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of any remaining items.
• Adhere to cold chain standards by safely handling refrigerated and frozen goods, and transfer pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor as needed and provide customer service support to enhance the shopping experience.
• Label and organize overstock merchandise in designated storage areas to facilitate efficient inventory management.
• Follow company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by performing safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Be flexible with work hours, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, to meet business demands.

Challenges of the Role

• Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced overnight work environment while maintaining energy and focus.
• Handle physical demands such as extended standing, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Undertake repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
