Job Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, and gain valuable experience in the retail sector. This role involves assisting with unloading trailers, processing merchandise, transporting pallets to the sales floor, and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment. You will also engage in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area before unloading tasks.
- Unload and sort merchandise from general trailers.
- Perform live unloading of all outstanding shipments.
- Ensure temperature control is maintained for refrigerated and frozen goods during receiving and stocking.
- Move pallets of merchandise to the salesfloor for next-day processing.
- Support salesfloor stocking and assist customers when needed.
- Label and correctly place overstock items.
- Promote a safe and clean workspace by following company policies and safety procedures, including completing safety sweeps and securing displays and fixtures.
Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $16.15. Exact pay will be based on relevant experience.
