About the Role
Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada offers a hands-on opportunity to thrive in a fast-moving retail environment. This role involves unloading delivery trailers, processing products, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while ensuring a clean and safe workplace. Your contributions will support customer satisfaction and the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders from various temperature zones with accuracy to support timely order fulfillment.
- Ensure product quality by selecting fresh items and discarding any damaged or unsuitable goods, accurately completing all documentation and labelling.
- Organize packing efficiently to maximize space without compromising safety or product quality.
- Balance completing order fulfillment tasks with interacting positively with customers and assisting team operations.
- Maintain safety and food hygiene standards, clean spills promptly, perform equipment safety checks, and contribute ideas to improve operational processes.
- Be flexible and available for shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.
Challenges You May Face
- Managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
- Handling physical demands such as standing for long durations, bending, and lifting inventory or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Performing repetitive stocking, zoning, and product organizing duties attentively to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $18.40 per hour.
