Role Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic retail environment. This position is essential for store operations, involving unloading merchandise from trailers, processing products, and transporting pallets to the sales floor, all while ensuring a safe and orderly workspace. Key Duties
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area and unload general merchandise trailers, including live unloading of remaining products.
- Handle merchandise carefully, maintaining cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen items and moving pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
- Assist with sales floor stocking as assigned and provide customer service to promote a positive shopping environment.
- Label and organize overstock merchandise in designated areas to aid inventory management efficiency.
- Follow company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
- Adapt to various shift schedules, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support smooth store operations and consistent customer service.
Challenges of the Role
- Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts, by effectively planning to maintain energy and focus.
- Complete large amounts of restocking and recovery efficiently and accurately within set deadlines.
- Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., along with performing repetitive stocking and organizing tasks attentively.

Compensation and Location
This position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.40. The worksite is located at 890 Rita Rd, Quesnel, BC V2J 7J3, Canada.
