Job description
Position Overview
This role entails managing the entire merchandise handling process including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing items intended for retail display and sale.
Primary Duties
- Physically and electronically verify incoming stock to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Conduct quality checks on products and report any damaged goods to the store or assistant store manager.
- Organize and place items in the stock room following store protocols to facilitate efficient product retrieval.
- Label new stock items and manage product returns under guidance from senior staff.
- Support sales personnel by replenishing products on the shop floor promptly to maintain continuous product availability.
- Maintain constant vigilance and adhere to security practices within the store to prevent loss or theft.
- Uphold exemplary housekeeping standards throughout the stock and store areas.
- Exhibit flexibility by working extended hours during peak sales seasons or festivals.
- Ensure physical fitness and capability to perform heavy lifting tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements including inventory inflow and outflow.
- Identify and report missing price tags on products to maintain pricing accuracy.
- Assist in the execution of stock audit and taking processes.

- The role demands the capacity to lift items weighing at least 10 kilograms.
