Role Overview

The Stewarding position at Six Sense is a full-time role based on-site in Jiddah. The primary duties involve ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas. This includes washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen appliances, sorting and storing cleaned items appropriately, and managing chemical usage safely following all hygiene and safety protocols. The steward assists kitchen staff by keeping workstations clean, replenishing supplies, and preparing equipment for use. The role also requires reporting any maintenance concerns, adhering to standard operating procedures, and collaborating closely with both peers and supervisors to guarantee efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within kitchen and storage spaces.
• Understand safe handling practices for cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment, prioritizing workplace safety.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills enabling effective assistance to kitchen personnel.
• Possess the physical ability to stand for long durations, carry and lift items, and handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in stewarding, kitchen porter, or related hospitality roles is advantageous but not required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, aligned with operational demands.
