Job Overview
Join our hospitality team and brighten guests’ experiences daily by managing and leading a team of stewards. As a Stewarding Executive, you will oversee back-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, coordination, and service excellence. Your leadership will contribute to creating memorable moments for every guest during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the stewarding team including utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary staff to guarantee timely cleaning and transporting of utensils and serviceware for restaurants and banquets.
- Supervise the cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas to maintain stringent sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Oversee inventory management and equipment handling, ensuring adequate stock levels and coordinating timely delivery of food and equipment for all events.
- Assist in team management through scheduling shifts, providing coaching and performance reviews, and recognizing team achievements to foster professional growth.
- Monitor operational metrics such as breakage and losses; maintain and update operating manuals; aid in monthly inventories for enhanced cost control and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams to promote smooth service and assist colleagues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, safeguarding the well-being of guests and staff.
Required Qualifications and Values
- Possession of a Middle School Diploma or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
- At least 2 years serving as a Stewarding Team Leader within an international hotel brand.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and practices.
