Job Overview

As a Steward at the Autograph Collection in Dubai, you play a vital supporting role across various hotel departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Your responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of linens and dining ware, operating cleaning machinery like dishwashers and laundry equipment, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel.

Key Duties

• Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment such as dishwashing machines and linen washers/dryers.
• Ensure fresh, clean linens and spotless dining ware are available for guest use.
• Transport dishware and linens to various locations within the hotel as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards, company policies, and quality expectations to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance and communicate professionally.
• Foster positive relationships with coworkers and support teamwork to achieve common objectives.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions promptly to management.
• Perform physical tasks involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform physical movements including bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• No formal education such as high school diploma or GED is required.
• No previous related work experience or supervisory experience is necessary.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory.
