About the Role
As a Steward at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, you play a vital part in providing outstanding hospitality by maintaining pristine kitchen and dining areas. Your daily efforts help create memorable experiences for our guests by ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in serviceware and kitchen spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all serviceware including chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and polished.
- Regularly check and organize stock levels to guarantee all supplies and equipment are available for smooth service operation.
- Maintain general kitchen hygiene through routine cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and managing waste disposal.
- Assist with event preparations by setting up clean serviceware for banquets and special functions.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, handling all hazardous materials responsibly and complying with hygiene regulations.
- Identify and immediately report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors to maintain a secure environment.
- Provide mentorship and training to new team members to enhance team efficiency and performance.
