About the Role

This position is based in Dubai Fountain Street, Downtown Dubai, within an esteemed hospitality environment combining boutique design with world-class luxury service. Primary Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Clean and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, as well as tools, tables, knives, and other equipment.
• Receive incoming deliveries; store perishable goods correctly while managing stock rotation effectively.
• Sanitize dishes using appropriate chemical agents at the three-compartment sink, inspect and organize cleaned items, and return any soiled utensils for re-cleaning.
• Prepare silverware by sorting, soaking, washing, and re-washing as needed.
• Manage waste disposal including emptying trashcans, maintaining dumpster areas, and recycling cardboard and other materials properly.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning and mopping of assigned departments and ensure glass disposal complies with protocols.
• Physically manage objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and maintaining safe ergonomic postures during prolonged periods standing, walking, or sitting.
• Adhere strictly to company, safety and security policies; promptly report any accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs to management.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, fostering positive relationships and supporting team efforts to achieve shared objectives.
• Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent not mandatory.
• No previous relevant experience or supervisory background necessary.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
