Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, and return them to their designated locations.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment including Pastry Shop and cookware zones.
• Collect cookware from cooking stations and stage it according to specific guidelines.
• Prepare the dishwashing area and ensure dish machines are operational with proper water levels, temperature, and cleanliness.
• Keep the kitchen floors and areas clean by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and lifting mats.
• Set up and break down workstation areas with racks, silver tubs, soap, sanitizer, storage racks, and floor mats.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of all workspaces and maintain pars for cleaned kitchen equipment across kitchen lines and outlets.
• Properly close the dish room and pot washing areas following accepted standards.
• Understand and comply with the policies and standards of Cache Creek Casino Resort.
• Represent Cache Creek Casino Resort positively in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No prior experience is required to apply for this role.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondences, and memos.
• Mathematical ability to perform basic operations and interpret bar graphs.
• Capacity to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve routine problems with several tangible variables.
• Must stand regularly and be able to carry and lift items up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Must possess a Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
• Physical demands include good vision (near, far, color, peripheral), hearing, speech, reaching, sitting occasionally, and performing some physical movements such as climbing, stooping, or kneeling.
• Work conditions involve frequent exposure to wet/humid settings, noise, moving machinery parts, occasional exposure to heights, fumes, and airborne particles.
