STEM Subject Matter Expert

Role Summary

We are seeking a STEM Subject Matter Expert to remotely work full-time, contributing to the assessment and generation of AI-produced content specifically within mathematics, science, engineering, or computer science fields. This role requires profound technical knowledge coupled with the patience to adhere closely to detailed annotation guidelines aimed at enhancing advanced AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated outputs in a STEM specialty for correctness and attention to detail.
• Develop reference answers, detailed explanations, and step-by-step solved examples.
• Detect nuanced inaccuracies in mathematical, scientific, or technology-based logic.
• Provide constructive, structured feedback to optimize subsequent model training cycles.
• Report ambiguous cases and edge scenarios to the annotation team lead.
• Ensure steady output quality that meets established benchmarks for consistency and throughput.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a STEM discipline or hold equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrate specialized, in-depth knowledge in at least one STEM area such as mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, computer science, or engineering.
• Exhibit strong command of written English and the capacity to articulate reasoning in a clear, stepwise manner.
• Experienced with using structured annotation procedures and able to apply them reliably.
• Familiar with technical documentation tools like LaTeX or Markdown.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently toward fulfilling project quotas.
