Position Overview

Lead business growth initiatives in Ethiopia's steel industry focusing on products such as HRC, CRC, GI, and PPGI. This role requires comprehensive sales ownership from prospect identification through closing and ongoing customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, technical consulting, contract negotiations, and maintaining long-term client accounts.
• Conduct thorough analysis of market conditions in Ethiopia, including import regulations, competitor strategies, and regional demand to tailor sales approaches locally.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance teams to smoothly coordinate customs clearance and order delivery within Ethiopia.
• Build and maintain strategic client partnerships while actively expanding the company's market presence to surpass sales goals.
• Represent the organization at key trade fairs and industry gatherings across Ethiopia to boost brand recognition.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English sufficient for work communication.
• At least three years of experience in international steel trading with demonstrable success in import and export operations.
• Strong negotiation skills, business insight, and an established network within the Ethiopian steel market.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently; willing and able to undertake frequent travel including occasional trips within the region.
