Role Overview
This position focuses on developing and owning advanced large language model (LLM) powered systems to enhance the booking experience. The successful candidate will design and implement end-to-end LLM solutions managing the entire user journey from intent recognition to multi-step trip planning and booking integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of LLM systems, including design, implementation, and operational ownership.
- Transform broad product challenges into concrete, scalable ML and LLM solutions balancing performance and reliability in a production setting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and leadership to guide impactful technical and product decisions.
- Continuously iterate products based on real-world usage feedback for optimized performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Deep expertise in data science practices such as modeling, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and experimentation.
- Experience with building and managing production-grade LLM systems including retrieval augmented generation (RAG), orchestration tools, and memory mechanisms, or ability to quickly learn these aspects.
- Strong analytical skills to navigate evolving and open-ended problems effectively.
