Role Overview

The Staff Software Engineer role seeks an energetic and skilled development engineer to engage in designing, implementing, automating, and contributing across various phases of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a readiness to tackle new challenges, adaptability, strong communication, and a cooperative team spirit.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of eight years in software development with proficiency in advanced C++ and C.
• Expertise in at least one major operating system such as Windows or Linux, combined with strong debugging skills and mastery of debugging tools.
• Experience in high-performance distributed databases and high-speed messaging queues.
• Solid understanding of build processes, communication protocols, and multithreaded programming.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl or Python is advantageous.
• Strong logical reasoning and determination in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Deep knowledge of operating system kernels with capability to mentor others and solve advanced OS-level problems.
• Exposure to cloud provider solutions is beneficial.
• Exceptional command over object-oriented design and development techniques.
• Ability to deliver exceptional results with minimal oversight, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in real-time systems, cross-platform development, network programming, distributed client/server architectures, and working with NoSQL databases.
