Role Overview

The Full Stack Software Engineer role encompasses creating scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions. The successful candidate will craft user-facing applications using React and TypeScript and design backend microservices and APIs employing Go (Golang). In a cross-functional team, responsibilities span the full software development lifecycle: design, build, deployment, and ongoing support. This position suits individuals enthusiastic about engaging across the technology stack, taking ownership, and thriving within team-based settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern, responsive web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver top-tier user experiences.
• Ensure web applications are optimized for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and maintain robust test coverage.
• Architect and sustain scalable Go-based microservices.
• Implement and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Create integrations and design event-driven solutions within distributed system architectures.
• Enhance system observability, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Deploy applications in AWS environments and maintain them.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines efficiently.
• Participate in production support, including on-call rotation duties as needed.
• Engage in architecture, code, and design reviews, contributing to documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver complete solutions from end-to-end.
• Identify areas to improve system performance and development productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficient with React and TypeScript development.
• At least 1 year experience developing backend services using Go (Golang).
• Knowledgeable in REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems design.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Comfortable with Git version control and modern software development methodologies.
• Experienced in Agile team environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities paired with effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

• Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message-based platforms.
• Expertise in observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing technologies.
• Background in SaaS product organizations.
