Role Overview

This position suits experienced engineering professionals or founders who prefer deep technical involvement as individual contributors rather than managing teams. As part of a small, elite group of engineers and product managers, you will set technical direction, craft production-level code, and be the technical go-to expert.

Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to coding, while about 25% will involve collaborating directly with senior client stakeholders—including CTOs—to understand needs, navigate technical tradeoffs, and ensure product alignment.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end engineering outcomes across multiple complex AI product domains.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code that stands up in production environments.
• Engage with senior technical stakeholders to translate their challenges into effective AI-powered solutions.
• Help shape product strategy and company culture through proactive ownership and initiative.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ professional software engineering experience with multiple full product cycles delivered.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles applied especially to AI systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior technical audiences and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated high ownership mentality, low ego, and a culture of integrity and collaboration.

Location and Work Arrangement

Position is based in UAE with a hybrid work schedule: four days on-site and Fridays remote.
