Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits to collect use cases and UX patterns throughout our digital products; develop reusable component and pattern standards that address diverse needs.
- Detect inconsistencies in current component design and use, and correct deviations from the design system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design system alignment and consistent application of components and patterns.
- Partner with development teams to build and validate components with high quality.
- Create clear guidelines on usage of components and design patterns.
- Implement governance processes that maintain and ensure proper use of the design system.
- Advocate the benefits of the design system to stakeholders, promoting adoption and demonstrating improvements in user experience and efficiency.
- Continuously refine and update the design system by incorporating user feedback, current industry practices, and new design trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a designer, ideally including at least 2 years managing a design system.
- Portfolio showcasing deep expertise in product design and craftsmanship, with examples from concept through launch.
- Strong UI design capabilities, proficient with Figma.
- Bonus skills include content strategy knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
