Role Overview

As a Staff Product Designer, you will oversee several projects simultaneously, guiding concepts through to launch with high-quality design, interaction, and prototyping skills. Collaborating with engineers, AI researchers, product managers, and legal professionals, you will harmonize AI technologies into user interfaces to foster trust, usability, and clarity in AI outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from conception to refined execution across multiple product experiences.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into intuitive user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent, scalable design system for coherent product visuals and interactions.
  • Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, using data-driven insights to shape design solutions.
  • Create and test prototypes to validate new features, workflows, and interaction models.
  • Set and maintain a high quality bar for design decisions and outputs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Advocate for and advance best practices in AI-integrated design methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience designing products in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex design challenges, simplifying them into intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong capability to shift perspectives between detailed design elements and high-level strategy, maintaining rapid paced delivery without compromising quality.
  • Deep expertise with design systems, coupled with refined visual and interaction design skills.
  • Experience in user research implementation and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to convey design ideas and decision rationale effectively.
