Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and enhance AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies to ensure robustness, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and improve automation for CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using tools like GitLab CI and Terraform to enable seamless, reliable production deployment.
  • Manage critical platform components running on Kubernetes, including scaling, secrets management, and core networking configurations such as VPC and ingress.
  • Implement and sustain comprehensive observability setups involving monitoring, alerting, and logging with solutions like Datadog, Opensearch, and fluentd to guarantee 24/7 system availability.
  • Collaborate as an autonomous consultant with internal development teams, acting as a partner to promote operational excellence across the organization.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Platform or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Proficient in AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
  • Experienced with container technologies and orchestration platforms, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in continuous integration and delivery tools such as GitLab CI, with solid understanding of Terraform.
  • Working knowledge of Go programming language at a basic to intermediate level.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, capable of working closely with agile development teams and other stakeholders.
