Role Overview

As a Staff Information Security Manager at IONOS, you will be integral to managing cloud infrastructure security, collaborating closely with various teams in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the security certification strategy and related standardization initiatives.
• Organize certification and standardization measures preparing for scaling into additional international markets.
• Implement readiness routines for certifications across internal development, operations, and other departments involved in certification activities.
• Manage strategic projects and foster collaboration between customer interfaces and business units.
• Participate in and support certification and attestation processes carried out by certification teams.

Qualifications

• Solid, multi-year hands-on experience with standardized management systems and cybersecurity certifications/attestations.
• Practical experience with two or more certification standards, such as ISO 27001, IT-Grundschutz, BSI C5, and PCI; additional knowledge of ISO management systems in data protection standards is advantageous.
• Several years of experience applying these standards within a technical organization, preferably one that offers technical products and includes technical teams.
• Passion for integrating modern, tool-supported, efficient management systems and certification processes into routine organizational workflows.
• High intrinsic motivation and dedication to continually updating expertise.
• Enthusiasm for technology, willingness to create and streamline documentation efficiently.
• Confident, communicative personality enabling achievement of goal-oriented results with international and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English (minimum CEFR C1) and fluent German (at least C2 level).
