About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer - Technical Lead with extensive expertise in Artificial Intelligence and a solid track record in managing complex system orchestration. This pivotal position involves hands-on software development, strategic technical leadership, and mentoring team members. You will steer the technical vision and spearhead the development of scalable, AI-driven applications along with their supporting infrastructure to oversee the entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and advocate for the architecture of AI-enabled products to ensure scalability, robustness, and security.
- Lead the technical strategy and roadmap planning to address both immediate product demands and future technological growth.
- Set and uphold best practices for code quality including design patterns, comprehensive testing, and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks such as technical debt, architectural vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
- Develop automated and resilient pipelines for AI model training, version control, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Enhance AI application performance focusing on minimizing latency, maximizing throughput, and efficient resource use.
- Facilitate the transition of AI research innovations into reliable, scalable production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, Go, or Java with solid software engineering principles.
- Experience working with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud platforms like AWS, OCI, or Azure.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL database systems.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Over 8 years of experience in the development and deployment of enterprise-grade solutions using Java technologies including Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience designing, developing, and implementing microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, or Node.js.
