Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of technical solutions for new product platforms and shared services aligned with business goals and long-term strategies.
• Develop, evolve, and share technical strategies, target architectures, domain roadmaps, and engineering guidelines to support rapid product innovation and scalability.
• Promote and expand our Spec Driven Development approach with agentic workflows and AI-assisted tools to enhance software design, quality, and delivery speed.
• Architect and build platform capabilities including services, APIs, and integration models that enable efficient product launches.
• Guide technical discovery in ambiguous settings, making well-informed architectural decisions for emerging opportunities.
• Drive efforts to simplify and consolidate the technical environment by reducing redundancies and fostering reusable platform components organization-wide.
• Own significant technical decisions balancing aspects like customer value, quality, scalability, performance, cost, and risk.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor for complex architectural or delivery challenges.
• Assess and implement new technologies and methodologies that encourage innovation and support business growth.
• Mentor senior engineers to cultivate architectural thinking and technical leadership across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering managers, product leads, architects, and other stakeholders to align technology choices with business objectives.
• Contribute actively to the development of company-wide engineering standards, best practices, and communities of practice.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive software engineering background with a strong history of building scalable platforms or complex distributed systems.
• Expertise in platform architecture, shared services, reusable APIs, and integration strategies enabling multi-team efficiency.
• Proven ability to lead technical outcomes influencing multiple teams and business domains.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture, cloud-native solutions, distributed systems, and principles of reliability, observability, security, and performance.
• Experience creating platforms that facilitate rapid innovation, experimentation, and scalable expansion.
• Comfort and skill in navigating unclear or changing environments to make solid technical choices.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tooling and specification-led development processes (Spec Driven Development preferred).
• Familiarity with establishing engineering governance and technical guardrails while empowering independent, fast decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence senior leadership and align technology with business strategy.
• Active participation in developing technology standards and fostering engineering communities.
