About Al Jabor Pools
Al Jabor Pools, a division of Al Jabor Trading, specializes in swimming pools, spas, and water features with over three decades of experience. The company boasts completion of more than 1,000 projects and manages maintenance contracts for over 700 pools across Qatar. It holds ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
Role Overview
The Specification & Technical Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accurate specification of products during the design phase and guiding projects through to sales handover. This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders to guarantee project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehend project specifications, drawings, and contractual terms to ensure requirements are met.
- Review and manage all drawings, documentation, and records related to projects.
- Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to identify and document any issues.
- Collaborate with the planning engineer to schedule and plan project activities.
- Promote company products to specifiers, contractors, and clients via site visits, seminars, and technical bulletins.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, government agencies, and major clients.
- Facilitate a seamless transition from specification phase to sales completion.
- Participate in ongoing training to remain updated on products and industry techniques.
- Adhere strictly to Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possession of a valid UPDA (MMUP) certification.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in specification, technical sales, or design coordination.
- Experience in swimming pools, spas, or water features preferred; expertise in pool MEP systems, filtration, water treatment, or finishes is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Established network with consultants and specifiers in Qatar.
- Current residence in Qatar with a valid QID and Qatar driving license.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
