Position Overview

The Specialty Care Representative will be responsible for engaging with specialists and allied health professionals across Gastroenterology & Dietetics, Allergy, Respiratory, ENT, and Pediatrics areas within the NSW metropolitan region. This role offers full-time or part-time permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with gastroenterology, allergy, respiratory, ENT, pediatrics specialists, and allied health professionals to promote Viatris products.
  • Educate and provide support to prescribers and allied health professionals regarding relevant Viatris therapies.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to assigned territories as planned.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribers, allied health professionals, and account contacts.
  • Maximize sales opportunities and optimize account potential.
  • Achieve call frequency and reach targets alongside business development initiatives.
  • Meet or exceed sales revenue targets as budgeted.
  • Accurately maintain all required data and activities in the Veeva CRM system.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Pharmacy, Science, Nursing, or related fields.
  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales, especially hospital sales representative experience preferred.
  • At least five years of experience as a high-performing GP representative with demonstrated specialty care sales growth plans.
  • Experience within the Australian pharmaceutical market is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with specialties such as Gastroenterology & Dietetics, Allergy, Respiratory, ENT, and Pediatrics is valued.
  • Strong skills in persuasion, negotiation, and influence.
  • Eligibility to legally work in Australia as a citizen or appropriate visa holder.
