Specialist ENT Physician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ENT Specialist to join a prestigious healthcare facility located in Sharjah. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and managing ENT disorders in adults and children, employing a patient-focused clinical approach.

Key Duties

• Deliver thorough consultations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for ENT ailments
• Evaluate and manage various conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and upper airway
• Identify and treat hearing impairments, otitis media, tinnitus, sinus issues, allergic rhinitis, and nasal blockages
• Address problems such as tonsillitis, adenoids, voice disorders, and swallowing challenges
• Conduct relevant ENT examinations including nasal endoscopy and otoscopy, and perform minor surgical procedures within your competence
• Treat both chronic and acute ENT cases medically and surgically
• Evaluate and manage vestibular conditions like vertigo and balance disorders
• Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing ENT surgeries
• Refer complicated cases for specialized surgical or multidisciplinary management as necessary
• Work collaboratively with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare specialists
• Maintain meticulous clinical records adhering to clinical governance and patient safety standards
• Inform and educate patients about treatment options, medication plans, follow-ups, and preventive measures
• Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, teaching duties, and continuing medical education activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Medical degree such as MBBS or MD or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in ENT or Otolaryngology recognized by relevant authorities
• Board certification or recognized specialist qualification in ENT
• At least five years of experience post-specialization in ENT practice
• Strong clinical skills covering general ENT diagnosis and management
• Proficiency in ENT procedures including minor surgeries
• Eligibility for MOHAP Specialist license/classification in Sharjah
• Excellent communication and patient management capabilities
