Overview

Qatar Airways invites applications for the role of Spa Therapist responsible for delivering top-notch spa services including massages, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing services, ensuring guests receive exceptional care and consistent quality.

Key Duties

• Carry out scheduled spa treatments with attention to safety and efficacy.
• Ensure treatments are enjoyable, effective, and safe for all spa visitors.
• Select appropriate spa music to align with each treatment's ambiance.
• Thoroughly understand all spa services and promote them to guests to enhance retention and growth.
• Identify opportunities to advise guests on home care and other spa services.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of procedural documentation.
• Keep treatment rooms clean, well-stocked, and organized with necessary supplies such as towels, candles, and oils.
• Organize and maintain storage areas, replenishing spa equipment and products per guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to the responsible personnel.
• Perform duties professionally, respecting scheduled treatment times and guests' satisfaction.
• Uphold high personal hygiene standards and present a professional image at all times.
• Work in a manner that safeguards the health and safety of guests and staff while protecting the environment.
• Comply fully with spa environmental, health, and safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum educational qualifications: High School diploma with at least one year of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree without prior work experience.
• Essential certification includes CIBTAC and CIDESCO beauty therapy diplomas or equivalent globally recognized qualifications for beauty therapists.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Prior experience in spa therapy at a five-star hotel, resort, or day spa is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, hygiene, facial treatments, massage techniques (basic and advanced), manicures, pedicures, body treatments, waxing, and galvanic treatments.
• Experience working with premium spa brands is an advantage.
• Capable of implementing massage therapy, facials, body scrubs and wraps, manicure, pedicure, and waxing effectively.
