Spa Therapist

About the Role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai seeks an experienced Spa Therapist to join their Spa & Wellness team, delivering exceptional treatments and contributing positively within a collaborative and respectful environment. The role involves performing all spa treatments professionally and adhering to the highest standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Strictly follow all corporate, hotel policies, standard operating procedures, and the Mandarin Oriental Group (MOHG) Code of Conduct.
• Ensure compliance with Luxury Quality Experience (LQE) and Forbes service standards while safeguarding confidential data.
• Adopt the role of a hotel ambassador and fulfill any additional responsibilities as delegated by management and the Spa Treatments Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout all spa-related areas including treatment rooms, reception, retail zone, pantry, lounges, and thermal suites.
• Provide treatments of the highest quality, prioritizing guest comfort, managing appointment scheduling, and fostering courteous guest interactions.
• Participate actively in meetings, training sessions, report any equipment malfunctions, maintain supply inventories, and support events or product demonstrations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum completion of senior school education; graduation from beauty school is preferred.
• CIBTAC and/or CIDESCO qualifications offer an added advantage.
• At least two years' professional experience as a Spa Therapist or Beautician.
• Experience working in five-star hotels or within the Middle East hospitality sector is a positive asset.
• Competency in computer usage combined with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, maturity, outgoing personality, and well-developed interpersonal and customer service capabilities are essential.
