Role Overview
The SPA Receptionist serves as the initial point of contact for guests, delivering a friendly and professional greeting while efficiently managing check-in and check-out procedures to ensure an exceptional front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and respond promptly to guest inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments with therapists and spa personnel.
- Process payments accurately and maintain detailed guest records.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry and record keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Provide detailed information about spa services and actively promote available offerings.
- Handle minor guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent customer service abilities focused on creating a warm and professional atmosphere.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with guests and colleagues.
- Familiarity with receptionist responsibilities such as managing calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating appointments.
- Basic clerical competencies, including data entry and handling of cash or electronic transactions.
- Experience working with reservation or booking software and standard office tools like email and spreadsheets.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a dynamic spa setting.
- Previous experience in spa, hospitality, or front desk roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages spoken in Dubai are advantageous.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor with strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
