Role Overview

The position of Laser Technician DHA is a full-time, onsite job located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The primary responsibilities encompass executing laser hair removal and other laser-based treatments strictly following Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and clinic standards.

Key Duties

• Conduct patient consultations to discuss treatment plans and expectations.
• Prepare and position clients appropriately for laser procedures.
• Operate laser equipment skillfully and safely, adapting laser parameters to suit individual skin and hair types.
• Assess each patient's skin and hair condition before treatments to tailor interventions accurately.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures and patient responses.
• Ensure the maintenance and sanitization of laser devices and treatment areas, adhering to infection control policies.
• Provide attentive and professional customer service, addressing patient queries empathetically.
• Collaborate effectively with medical and administrative team members to uphold clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in hair removal and laser hair removal procedures prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
• Hands-on experience operating medical laser apparatus and associated aesthetic devices, including proficiency in adjusting settings.
• Capability to discern appropriate clinical laser applications versus non-clinical uses like industrial laser cutting.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities to engage with patients transparently and compassionately.
• Possession of a valid DHA license or qualified for DHA licensing as a Laser Technician or related healthcare professional.
• Certification or diploma in laser treatments, aesthetics, dermatology assistance, or related healthcare discipline.
• Familiarity with infection prevention, basic dermatological knowledge, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to function within a multidisciplinary clinical team and comply with clinical guidelines.
• Experience documenting treatment sessions using clinic management software; fluency in English is mandatory with additional languages considered a plus.
