About the Role

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is seeking a Spa Concierge to join our dedicated Spa team. This role is vital in delivering outstanding guest service by managing various facets of the spa such as reception, retail, relaxation areas, and sales functions. The position reports directly to the Treatment Manager and involves ensuring smooth spa operations and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold excellent service standards across the spa environment.
  • Support daily operations of the following spa areas: front desk, retail section, relaxation and changing rooms, sales and marketing of treatments and products, gym facilities, and swimming pool areas.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to the Treatment Manager promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of spa supplies required for reception operations.
  • Engage politely and effectively with guests in person, by phone, or email to address inquiries and offer assistance.
  • Deliver a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, including tours for new guests and re-orientations for returning guests.
  • Ensure the reception and communal areas are consistently clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Prepare confirmation letters and files ahead of the next business day.
  • Communicate guest messages swiftly and keep the Manager-On-Duty informed about any complaints.
  • Assist in facilitating a seamless guest experience during their visit.
  • Carry out opening and closing responsibilities diligently.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of spa treatments and retail products offered.
  • Process gift certificate preparation and manage pre-payment arrangements.
  • Conduct daily inspections of gym facilities, swimming pool, and changing rooms to assess cleanliness, maintenance, and safety, reporting issues as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient communication skills in English with strong customer service orientation.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the spa and wellness industry.
  • At minimum, one year of experience in a comparable spa or customer-facing role.
  • Availability to work 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays on a rostered shift system.
