Role Overview

Under the guidance of the Senior Spa Attendant, the Spa Attendant is charged with ensuring the spa and gym areas are impeccably clean, hygienic, and sanitized at all times. This role involves welcoming guests warmly, orienting them to spa amenities, and maintaining guest lounges, locker rooms, and other areas by keeping them tidy, clean, and well-stocked with necessary amenities.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire thorough knowledge of all spa services, facilities, and the wet and dry zones.
• Execute scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks daily, weekly, and monthly according to the checklist.
• Offer friendly greetings to guests and accommodate their requests promptly and courteously.
• Manage linen, towels, and guest amenities inventory and replenishment.
• Keep all floors clean using sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing as needed.
• Daily cleaning of entrance doors, door frames, and tracks.
• Brush and straighten upholstery on furniture and maintain high and low dusting duties.
• Clean and polish glass, mirrors, planters, signage, and light fixtures.
• Maintain reception counters by cleaning, trash removal, and liner replacement.
• Restock restrooms, clean toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, and shower areas thoroughly using disinfectants.
• Clean steam room surfaces and floors with disinfectants daily.
• Remove marks, fingerprints, and graffiti from all relevant surfaces.
• Maintain treatment rooms by sweeping, mopping tiles, vacuuming, and emptying trash daily.
• Assist with linen retrieval, folding, and stocking in lounges and storage.
• Prepare water stations before opening and replenish them throughout the day.
• Ensure spa adheres to health and safety standards and report any maintenance issues via the appropriate forms.
• Set treatment rooms according to professional standards and maintain equipment care.
• Enforce spa housekeeping and presentation standards, ensuring changing rooms, lounges, corridors, and pantries remain clean and organized.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Clear and legible communication skills.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or spa sectors.
• Proficient in English with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset and effective team contribution skills.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
• Strong guest service orientation.
