Role Overview
The Sourcing Recruiter position plays a critical role in establishing robust talent pipelines that fulfill present and anticipated recruitment demands. The role involves leveraging targeted sourcing tactics and market data to identify and engage with top candidates. This position demands close collaboration with recruiters to deliver well-matched talent through a compliant and organized sourcing process, ideal for individuals who excel in research, candidate outreach, and thrive in dynamic environments.
This is a 12-month fixed term appointment available in Melbourne (preferred), Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney, or Brisbane. Holding or being eligible for a Baseline AGSVA security clearance is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates using various tools and platforms.
- Perform market research, talent mapping, and competitor analysis to address priority hiring needs.
- Maintain precise, audit-ready candidate pipelines in ATS/CRM platforms, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
- Provide recruiters with qualified candidate lists, accompanied by screening insights and role suitability assessments.
- Monitor and analyze sourcing performance metrics to refine strategies and support hiring planning.
- Collaborate with recruitment, marketing, and program teams to synchronize sourcing efforts, improve employer branding, and tackle hard-to-fill vacancies.
- Offer strategic contributions by delivering market intelligence on talent availability, geographic trends, and compensation benchmarks.
- Identify and recommend improvements for sourcing processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with recruitment events and related initiatives as needed.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in talent sourcing or recruitment operations.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems or talent CRM tools for candidate management and reporting.
- Skilled in running sourcing campaigns via platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and resume databases.
Preferred Attributes:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience sourcing candidates for security-cleared roles or within government contracting sectors.
- Understanding of compliance standards including OFCCP, AAP, and EEO, with the ability to maintain audit-ready documentation.
Active Baseline Defence Security Clearance is required and must be maintained.
