About the Role
Radiology Tasmania is seeking a dedicated Sonographer to join our newly established clinic in Launceston, Tasmania. We welcome candidates with a diverse range of ultrasound scanning skills, offering upskilling opportunities for those interested. This position can be tailored as either full-time or part-time, with working days Monday through Friday.
We offer substantial relocation and retention packages valued up to $50,000 for candidates moving from interstate. Additionally, ASAR accredited candidates from overseas may be eligible for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong professional relationships with patients, referring doctors, and team members.
- Deliver timely, accurate diagnostic imaging results coupled with excellent customer service.
- Effectively prioritize and manage a busy workload, working independently and collaboratively.
- Contribute proactively to health and safety initiatives within the clinic.
- Provide constructive feedback to support training and development for clinic and operational staff.
- Work in partnership with National Ultrasound Leader and management to drive clinic growth and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound.
- Demonstrate proficiency across a wide spectrum of scanning techniques.
- Maintain current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) through completion of an accredited course.
- Uphold annual professional liability insurance via the ASA or an equivalent organisation.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic grounded in core values.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
