About the Role and Team

Join Cisco's dedicated Solutions Engineering team based in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the Public Sector. This team supports national transformation efforts through innovative technology implementations. As a vital part of the KSA Sales group, you will collaborate with Account Managers and professionals from various specialties to craft solutions that contribute to Saudi Arabia’s digital ambitions and its significant national projects. The team fosters a culture built on trust, collaboration, and technical mastery, empowering members to achieve substantial results for customers and the community.

Role Impact and Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect for Cisco KSA in the Public Sector, your primary responsibility will be to help shape the technological strategies of public sector clients. Operating in a pre-sales role, you will work closely with Account Managers to tailor solutions that are aligned with business needs and clearly communicate the financial and strategic advantages of Cisco’s offerings. Your duties include delivering technical presentations, leading proof-of-concept demonstrations, and designing system architectures that showcase Cisco’s cutting-edge innovations in networking, security, cloud computing, and automation. Your capability to transform business requirements into technology solutions will reinforce Cisco’s position as a trusted advisor to government and enterprise stakeholders in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales engineering, solution design, or systems engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco technologies or equivalent competitor products.
• Proven expertise in networking, security, data center operations, and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with enterprise or public sector clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• CCIE certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Expertise

• In-depth understanding of SD-WAN, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Digital Network Architecture (DNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Artificial Intelligence, Cloud platforms, Automation, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of MLOps, AIOps, and programming or scripting capabilities.
• Strong grasp of Cisco’s technology portfolio and architecture, with an ability to create integrated solutions spanning multiple Cisco technologies.
• Capability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences, including executives.
• Experience engaging customers directly using consultative selling approaches, understanding financial challenges, and aligning technology solutions to customer business models to promote solution adoption and value realization.
• Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
