Position Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Pre-Sales team within our Sales department. This role involves supporting the pre-sales process by effectively communicating the value of our wealth management solution to prospective clients. Ideal candidates are collaborative team players with strong communication skills who confidently present their viewpoints in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the pre-sales cycle by delivering compelling product demonstrations to potential clients and refining the messaging and storylines used to position the product.
- Design and enhance the demo environment to tailor product presentations to specific target audiences and highlight new functionalities.
- Gather client and prospect input during pre-sales to inform product management about desired features and improvements.
- Develop marketing materials such as white papers, user manuals, and collateral reflecting d1g1t methodologies and capabilities.
- Create and maintain presentations on complex or novel topics and update these resources as the software evolves.
- Coordinate contributors and lead the completion of RFP and RFI documents for qualified prospects.
- Serve as the knowledge conduit between Sales and Financial Engineering teams to address detailed prospect inquiries and manage resource allocation for sales support.
Qualifications
- Exceptional presentation skills capable of persuasively conveying value propositions.
- Highly self-directed with the ability to manage projects independently.
- Professional demeanor with strong time management and the ability to establish rapport with prospective clients.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team management, employee engagement, and career development.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or expertise in risk management, wealth management, or portfolio management, including specialization areas such as performance attribution, portfolio optimization, trading, portfolio construction, stress testing, or data science.
- Experience in Solutions Engineering or familiarity with d1g1t’s or comparable wealth technology platforms is advantageous.
- Programming skills in languages such as R, Python, Julia, VBA, or related languages for data analysis, scripting, or prototyping are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory; advanced qualifications such as a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or professional credentials like CFA, CFP, CAIA, or FRM are assets.
